Kelsey Grammar, "Boss" on Starz

Temis the Vorta

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
This might be the first Starz show (after Party Down) that interests me. Kelsey Grammar could really kick butt in this role!

Story here.

In the series, Grammer plays Mayor Tom Kane who sits among the most powerful people in Chicago. He’s Machiavellian in his approach, but he gives the people what they need – using any tool at his disposal to make it happen. Yet, he hides a secret that can take it all away. Kane has a degenerative brain disorder that has begun affecting his memory and judgment.

I'm gunshy of this bloke after "Hank".

It's not that he's a bad actor it's that he makes bad choices and he's too "powerful" for anyone to tell him that he's walking head-first into a clusterfuck.

Looks good even for a teaser, nice to see him in something more serious than his shows of the past.

Always nice to see another show filmed in Chicago!

But boy oh boy is Grammar ever lucky to get this job (and all of his others!), what with Hollywood never hiring conservatives and all.

I love Kelsey's work (minus Hank), but I'm not paying for Starz. I hope it'll come to Netflix next year.

I don't follow celebrity lifestyle stuff so I neither know nor care whether anyone is nice in real life. I just care they can do their job well. I've never much cared about Grammar's shows (not really my taste) but this one looks like it might be different. Good role for him - total bastard.

Oh yeah, me too. One show aint' enough to get me to subscribe to anything unless the show's called Dexter. :p

I'd hardly call two failed sitcoms a losing streak. Back to You was actually doing pretty decent, but I had read that Heaton and Grammer weren't getting along. Hank was downright terrible though (and at least he admitted it).

Back to You was passably watchable, and actually this thread is the first I've heard of Hank.

I'd like to say this show looks interesting but for some reason they blocked the advert from non-US viewing.

when is the release date for this. I love kelsey grammer both on cheer's, frasier, tng and down periscope.
