PS2 owns. I love my PS3 better, though. Just a bit surprised it hasn't creeped up much to PS2.

Anyways, too bad Prototype isn't that great of a game. I thought Infamous would be a lot higher in the first list, even higher than Prototype, so that is a surprise.

Another surprise is the booming NDS. I have one and I love it but it seems to have really picked up in sales.

I believe those are US and Canadian sales only.

Yeah those figures for the 360 and the PS3 are wrong, the 360 was at 30 million and the PS3 22 million worldwide.

Those sales figures must be for a spefic region.

I seriously doubt Natal will sell more then a few million units, it's pretty unlikely it will become as big as the Wii.

The Wii has won the mind share of most people. An accessory late in the 360s life isn't going to change that.

They’re going to mark it as a new console it will be redesigned, on the inside it will use the same hardware as the 360, but it will look like a new console to the average customer. This accessory is only for existing 360 owners. So it might take off as some kind of Wii follow up.

That's purely a matter of personal preference. If I had to get rid of my 360 or my Wii it would be my 360, the Wii has way more exclusives that I'm interested in, both currently and in the future.

I didn't think it would be beating PS3 or 360, unless I read that stat wrong....which is a possibilty!

The DS has higher total sales than the PS3, 360, and Wii combined. The thing is simply a monster.

Yeah it's either US only or US and Canada, I'm not sure which.

I never thought that Killzone 2 would have a big impact on PS3 sales, after all the first one wasn't very well received, and it isn't exactly a big name franchise. Even when Halo 3 was released on the 360 it didn't have a huge impact on sales.

Yeah in August 2007 the 360 sold 276,700 consoles and in September when Halo 3 came out they sold 527,800 consoles. An increase from Halo fans who hadn't gotten a 360 yet but it didn't really increase the 360's momentum at all. I expected the same thing to happen with Killzone 2 and the PS3 and that's pretty much what happened.
