This week's hunk is a little bit of Canadian goodness Joshua Jackson who is currently playing Peter Bishop in FRINGE:

Born in 1978 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Joshua moved to L.A. shortly after. At 8, after his parent's divorce, Josh moved back to Vancouver with his mother, but with the actor bug firmly bitten from his experiences in L.A. (where he filmed commercials, walk-ons and bit parts). Back in Canada, Josh became a child actor, when at 11 he had his first major film role in a Canadian film 'Crooked Hearts' which garnered him enough recognition to be cast as Charlie in the three 'Mighty Ducks' films. Continuing his success led him to be cast as Pacey Witter on 'Dawson's Creek'. Through a series of films, Josh was able to produce and star in another Canadian film about a man diagonosed with cancer in 'One Week'. Then, taking the role of Peter Bishop, the son of scientist Walter Bishop on the SciFi televison series 'Fringe', in which he currently stars along with John Noble and Anna Torv.

So, I give you Joshua Jackson!

'Dawson's Creek', with Katie Holmes, whom he dated at the time:

'One Week', a story of a teacher diagnosed with cancer who takes off on a cross-country tour of Canada on a motorcycle:

So ladies...start your votes! Yay! Nay! or Meh.

My vote  Yay!

He's from Fringe so it's an automatic thumbs up from me. He's definately a handsome man, though, and I love the way he dresses on Fringe. It really works for him.

Meh. He's not bad looking, but he'll forever be Pacey. He just doesn't look like a full grown adult man. He's still looks like a kid, even with the facial hair which I normally like.

I've never seen him in anything but "Fringe," so I can only judge him by that. I can't say I find him physically attractive, but I do really like the character he plays. He manages to get the personality and energy level just right. So, I'll give him a thumbs up for that.

Great pics, by the way. :techman:

Ummmm.... sideways thumb. I don't like his character on Fringe and teh facial scruff isn't doing his face any justice. But... I wouldn't say no ;)

I do like that "bunsen burner turned off" in the poll. I had a giggle.

Yay! He was the only one I could stand on Dawson's Creek, and he's really cute... that combined with some badass-ness and leather jacket plus jeans goodness.... hot. Me likes. :p

Not gonna vote, I'll leave that fort he ladies. That said, he played one of my absolute favorite tv characters ever in Pacey Witter. Loved Dawson's Creek and his character, and the sheer hotness and maddening behavior of Katie Holmes/Joey Potter made that a great show. On the one hand I REALLY wanted Joey to choose Pacey over Dawson and on the other hand I wanted Pacey to tell Joey to do nasty things to herself and leave him alone. LOL He's got some really good dramatic chops as an actor and while I like his character Peter Bishop on Fringe it's not giving him the dramatic range he is capable of playing.

That second-last pic is...wow.

Not bad at all. Thumbs up. :bolian:

Very "old-Hollywood" type shot.

I think this is the first time I've voted in a "hunk" poll--but my gosh! He's cute!

(And I never watched Dawson's Creek--but I know his character was "Pacey".)

I wasn't a Dawson's Creek fan, but I recognized Jackson when I started watching Fringe, and realized I remembered him from the Mighty Ducks

He grew up fine though :D

Indeed. It really works for him, too. :bolian:

As for Dawson's Creek, Dorkson was a whiny, irritating dweeb. I never could work out why any of them bothered with him. Pacey could be an idiot but at least he didn't whine all the time.

I suppose I ought to actually vote.

Being in touch with your emotions is cool, whining is not cool. Often, writers don't see the difference. Dawson was annoying beyond belief.

Mighty Ducks? Wow, I don't remember! I watched those! I'm old. *sigh*

I've only seen Fringe a few times, but I liked the character, so I'll give him a Thumbs Up. He always seems so unhappy, though. Cheer up! :D
