Josh Holloway as Jim Rockford?

News that NBC is taking another stab at rebooting the ’70s private-eye classic The Rockford Files—sans Dermot Mulroney in the title role—has revived talk that Holloway would look great in James Garner’s iconic (gum)shoes.

I'd prefer him cast as a dino hunter in Terra Nova, but I'd watch him as Jim Rockford! Definitely a better choice for the role than Mulroney.

It goes without saying that Ken Leung needs a recurring role.
