Jabba's Palace

Ever since I was a kid, I have been fascinated by mobster Jabba the Hutt, his minions, and his palace. I know there is a good book called Tales of Jabba's Palace which I have read, but I wanted to know what are some good reference books or tales concerning old Jabba and his palace or his merry band of henchman. There may be some layout plans of his palace in one of those cross-section books. Does anyone know other tales I can get concerning him and his cohorts or where I can get detailed info on his palace and the inner workings of his glorious regime?

The Han Solo Trilogy by A.C. Crispin has plenty of Jabba and his fellow Hutts in it. Darksaber opens with Luke and Han going to Jabba's palace.

Thanks for all the helpful info so far, folks!

Don't forget Jabba helped create the ultimate geek fantasy of our time with Leia in the slave outfit!

I remember as a kid thinking Jabba's Palace was a genuinely scary and dangerous place.

Now... not so much. lol

Eh... I'd take a good Trek jumpsuit, Padme's Geonosis garb or those natty black leather outfits from the X-Men movies over Leia's metal bikini any day of the week.

Slave Leia outfit kills all of those! I think there was even a Friends episode where Jennifer Aniston dressed in the Slave Leia outfit (never saw it)!

The bikini was awesome, it's just too bad it wasn't the cuter Carrie Fisher of ANH wearing it instead.

Sorry, nope. ;) It might be different in person, but as far as 2D is concerned, IMO, seeing the rough form but having to guess at the underneath is far more interesting.

Were the slaves at Jabba's palace merely dancers or were they used for physical relations for the Hutt as well?

There is a -- comic book that is of dubious quality written about further exploits on Jabba the Hutt. Find also the CCG game by Decipher, as they released an entire set on his palace and has some interesting photos of aliens.
