How to use Bridge Mode with three routers?

I have my main router in my office. It is connected via Ethernet to my living room, which has a secondary router in bridge mode. My various A/V devices - TV, soundbar, AppleTV, BluRay player - are all connected to that secondary router via Ethernet.

I want to add a third router, in my basement, also in bridge mode. So which router do I conenct it to - the primary or secondary one?

And no, I have no intention of adding a Mesh network. I want everything connected via Ethernet. I don't yet actually have any devices down in my basement, I just want the flexibility of connecting them via Ethernet should I ever acquire some. (I only use WiFi for my iPhone and iPad.)

I actually hope that the answer to this question is to connect Router #3 to my original (office) router, because the one in my living room doesn't have any available Ethernet ports.

Yes, connecting to the secondary would also increase contention (chance of packet collisions) on the link between the secondary and the primary. The bottleneck will be on the main router in any case.
