how come Full episodes of the Colbert Report are so short?

by episodes I mean last nights, according to the software comes in at 14 minutes & 34 seconds, now I know US shows have ALOT of ads, but it normally comes in at 20 to 22 minutes?

they seemed to miss the bit about finding Barak a new church

I had the same problem when watching it this morning. The second segment wasn't showing up in the timer. However, it still ran as it normally would. I watched the first part, then the commercial, then the second part, then the commercial, then even though it had said it was only 14 minutes and the episode should have ended, it went on to a third segment. I had to mess around with it a bit to get the second part to play though.

I just dont how they can call it a full episodes and then only put 2/3s of the episode online
