Or is it 5x01. ;)

House copes with a patient whose symptoms conceal a greater problem, but spends much of his time dodging Cuddy's orders to give performance reviews, and fighting with Amber over who gets to spend more time with Wilson.

So, House returns tonight on a new night after a pretty-good sized Hiatus from the Strike and maybe a touch of American Idol.

Welcome back Housearians!

Finally a time slot with no American Idol in sight!

Have seen way much too much of doctors this last 10 days, irl....

yet I can't wait for this good doctor to show up in my home tonight!!!!!

:D ;)

I had a dream the other night that House was using one of these "robots" that is pretty much a TV screen on a person-high roving robot and it may of had manipulator arms or something on it that some hospitals use to allow doctors to see patients while away or get consults from distant doctors.

Anyway, in my dream House was using one of these to see/treat his PotW from his home.

Not only can I see House doing that, I'm surprised he hasn't already done that!

I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later. It'll be great to see. I can see him having a lot of fun bugging Wilson with it.

The Wilson part of the story seemed pretty forced. :(

Yeah, it kind of did. Amber is being a bit of a complete bitch in regards to her posession of Wilson. Loosen the reigns a bit girl!

Very fun episode. I knew House, somehow, faked the syphilis to fool with his team.

Excellent episode. (Grade skewed by it being so long since the last new episode.)

I also kind of wonder if nurses' stike non-plot was a wink/nod at the WGA Strike?

I demand full custody of Anne Dudek.

I'm glad they found a way to include her on the show.

As for the rest, the House/syphilis thing really had me going. I knew that Cameron didn't sleep with House tho. I wonder why she didn't just say that she didn't sleep with him.

I thought it was below average so I voted "bad," although that isn't the word I would choose. I was distracted by the Flyers nearly blowing a 3-goal lead so I didn't play super close attention, but had the episode been more interesting I probably would have. The nurse's strike seemed a rather blatant reference to the WGA strike (I like subtlety). The Wilson B-story was boring. The performance review story was boring. And worst of all, the patient barely suffered. I like it when they go through 50 invasive tests and almost DIE.

House is back and hilarity! Only on House is "niceness" a symptom.

Once again the best scenes were the ones involving Wilson (or "The Wilson Dilemma"). I love seeing House and Cut Throat Bitch fighting over Wilson and making Cuddy the arbitrator (no, excuse me...King Solomon). And of course, I love Cuddy's punishment for both of them breaking the contract: diaper duty! :guffaw:

Naturally, I figured House didn't actually syphillis, but it was fun watching both Ducklings 1.0 and 2.0 sweat over it (and Chase getting indignant about whether Cameron slept with House or not).

Oh, and the best line of the night: "So mocking me will save lives?"

Next week's looks like a lot of fun.

I liked the writers strike homage at the start... I liked the case.... I was confused why House tricked them into thinking he had syphilis... and the Wilson/Amber angle seemed kinda forced and I just don't like Amber's character. Not one of my favorite episodes.

My god I feel sorry for WILSON, he now become a piece of meat

Also hey writers, its time to pick up the House/Cuddy plot again

I liked it just because of House and CTB fighting over Wilson like divorced parents fighting over custody. Then having Cuddy play Solomon. It was just great.

I enjoyed it...but man is Wilson wishy washy! I just wanted to slap him!

Nice bowling scene too...though how a young, preppy Brit got so good is beyond me :p

Chase, and the actor who portrays him (The handsome Jesse Spencer.) are Australian.

Wilson was having the best time. Had to be great for his ego, having CTB and House fighting over him.
