That's why she's in the picture.
But why aren't you going to bat for the other 130+ crew members who aren't in the photo?
Well, there are two resons. She was a main charatcer and her beinbg part of the crew has been questioned in the past. But generally, you're right.
I'm grateful that you didn't put "Suspiria in disguise" or whatever "that" was in the picture.It would have been funnier if she was peeking in through the window.

You probably saved some lives by doing so, they might have been hit by furniture flying out of my window.
However, Kes outside the window is a bit...........well, I don't know. The poor being can't breathe outside it.
However, I really like the picture of Rom on the table!
I hope that it's OK if I take this picture but move Kes more into the center of things, like my original picture which I found many years ago. The picture you provided is bigger and better.
But I will keep Rom!
Or put Quark there instead?
You can do anything you'd like to it. There's a bigger clean copy in Trekcore's screengrabs too.

I haven't watched that episode since it was first aired.
I remember the picture but I didn't remember from which episode it was.
The original picture I made showed up on some forum in the early 2000s, probably some years after the episode was aired. It may have been on TrekBBS.
I remember seeing it and added Kes to it for my New Year celebration, however that picture is much smaller and my Photoshop skills weren't so developed then.

It would even have been better, had Janeway, 7 and the Doc been on the front row, Neelix, Tuvok, Tom and B'Elanna on the middle row, and Chakotay and Harry shunted to a dark corner in the background.
