In the upcoming season, we'll be seeing the Mad Hatter along with the Tweedle Brothers, Solomon Grundy and Talon from the Court of Owls. Read the article here. If you don't know or care who any of these people are, there's also fan speculation that we'll see Killer Croc or Bane, depending on who was wearing that Nolan-style face mask, and maybe the Joker. Many insist that they heard a Joker laugh in the season 2 finale. And finally, we've got a long-haired Bruce Wayne doppelganger. Who is he?

I've been assuming it was Hush.
I can't wait for next season. I thought this last season was great, and I can't wait to see where they take things next. I loved that they pretty much moved away from any attempts at realism, and just went full on crazy as the second season went on.

But we never saw him again after that, so he could have gone and gotten plastic surgery to look like Bruce so he can get revenge. That's what happened in the comics, and it really wouldn't be any crazier than the other stuff we saw this season.

I thought of that, but it seemed weird to have him do it while still a child. But of course, this is Gotham, where if it's merely weird, then they're hardly even trying.

Hmm, they said actress in her late teens, so I wonder if whatever turns her into Poison Ivy will also age her up, or if they'll just suddenly have her older, but act like nothing unusual happened.

Won't matter since no one will notice. Being promoted to series regular means 3-6 episodes tops. :p

Going by IMDB, in season 2 Lucius Fox was only in 6 episodes (and missing for 15) starting with episode 2, and Harvey Dent in 3 episodes starting at episode 7.

Holy sinecures, Batman! Why go to the expense of paying someone a full season-regular salary if you don't intend to use them much?

Perhaps a sign the season's episodes are not planned out as far in advance as on other shows, but the producers want to ensure the availability of the actors if and when needed? Expensive, to be sure, but if the budget allows for it, why not?

At least Lucius did pop back up for the last 3 or 4 episodes, unlike Harvey who completely vanished after his 3 early episodes. Did they ever even mention him after his last appearance?

Jim Gordon got sentenced to prison and Harvey Dent wasn't even in the episode!
