By request, this week's hunk is the blue-eyed Canadian, Kevin Durand. Anyone who watches "LOST" will immediately recognize him as the evil and mysterious Martin Keamy, but he has appeared in many genre films and TV shows. He has also been cast in the upcoming sci-fi films, Legion and X-Men Origins:Wolverine.
Oddly enough,Kevin got his start in comedy, but because of his height (6' 6") and piercing blue-grey eyes, he was frequently cast as the tough guy. His first big break came when he was cast as the role of lion-faced Joshua in the genre TV series, "Dark Angel." He later snagged recurring roles on "Stargate: SG1," "Andromeda" and the American version of "Touching Evil." His film credits include The Butterfly Effect, Mystery Alaska, Walking Tall, Smokin' Aces and 3:10 to Yuma.
In his spare time, he is an active supporter of the Special Olympics and plays in Russel Crowe's band, 30 Odd Foot of Grunts.
