As far as his head hair, my same rule applies for Scotty as it does for Kirk - whicever I'd most like to run my fingers through. I'd say the 5th pic is best. His sideburns are a bit long, but he's nicely combed while still looking light and not greasy. Also his fly plaid and kilt with his dress tunic is very cool.

The very first picture of him with slicked back hair looks really weird for multiple reasons.
