Favorite Free RSS Reader?

Hello, all. I am trying to organize the stuff I read on the net a little bit better. Almost all of the sites I visit have full RSS feeds, so I would like to use that capability instead of searching through my bookmarks all the time and having to deal with tons of different sites.

Does anyone know of any free applications that fit this basic mold: customizable view of the RSS feeds (so that I can customize fonts, colors, and so forth for maximum readability); display the entire story, article, whatever instead of just the headline (obviously this would only work on sites that do this); the ability to save stories, articles, whatever; and just plain easy to use? I know of several that can do some of these, but I'm still looking for the all in one solution for Vista.

If you use RSS, what software do you use?

What is RSS? I've been seeing that a lot at all the news sites I visit and have been reluctant to click it. I would really appreciate a heads up...Thanks

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. I believe. It's basically a way that websites can deliver content. It's the articles, stories, whatever they have (all too often just the headlines) in a unified format. There are programs (most web browsers included, I think) that can read these and display them. I'm interested in a good one of these.

I use Google Reader, and I like it a lot. It's browser based so I can get to it anywhere there's a computer

I second Google Reader. Its reached the point where I can't live without it.

I'm currently using SharpReader, but that might change when I find a better option. I don't like that it uses IE to display pages. Other than that, it does what I need it to do.

I also have a couple of Firefox Live Bookmarks.

I'll also chime in as a Google Reader user. It works really well, I find.
