DS9 Fallen Help?

I was wondering if someone could help me with a problem regarding this game, its not that the game wont run, it does nicely however im stuck to only using Software Rendering, I get no option to switch to 3D Acceleration. Anyone know how to get it enabled?

Im using a Geforce 275 video, I know its more advanced then DS9 Fallen could imagine but surely theres some way to get it to read a 3D card.

I feel your pain with getting this game working, after much tinkering i did eventually get the game to run in Direct3d mode and it is actually very easy.

Go to your infiniteloop/ds9thefallen/system directory, once there find ds9.ini (configuration file). find the line that starts with 'GameRenderDevice=' and repalce everything after the = sign with 'D3DDrv.D3DRenderDevice'. This whole line has no spaces.

I came up with this solution after i realised the fallen would detect a 3d rendering device when i did not have my video card drivers loaded (or windows drivers). This method just forces it to use the 3d display.

I am curious to know if you get it working using this method.

Thanks! It works great now, even in 3D it shows its age but its much better then the Playstation 1 Graphics it has in Software render.

There was an expansion released online for free as well, I haven't played it though. You should be able to find it with a few good google searches though. Apparently it is supposed to be pretty good.
