I don't recall seeing this posted here, but a couple weeks ago they had a guy on FOX News from Domino's Pizza with hte old and new flavors and was letting the show hosts taste-test blindfolded.

Anyway, much like New Coke, they've decided to change their recipe. I thought I recall the guy saying early January, but appearently it went into affect a couple days ago:

Anybody try it?

I haven't had Domino's in, well, many years. For me, it's been Pizza King, Papa John's, CiCi's, or in a pinch, Pizza Hut.

The fact that Domino's gets tied with Chuck E. Cheese's for taste says it all, though. No wonder they're changing the recipe. CEC pizza is edible, but not that good as pizza goes.

Domino's has always been my favorite pizza since high school. I had some yummy Papa John's about a month ago. I should order some Papa John's some time.

Domino's sucks. Changing their recipe will probably go over a lot better than Coke's did. I have one about a block away and I haven't eaten their pizza once.

One of the worst pizza chains around. New recipe can't be any worse than old one. At least one would think.

I never had Dominos...I have had Pizza Hut, Little Ceazar's, Papa John's & Chanello's.

Meh, Domino's isn't pizza no matter what they do to it. Nor are any of the other big chains.

Go to the store and buy a frozen self rising pizza. When you get it home, remove half the toppings. Bake it 30 degrees lower and 8-10 minutes shorter in it's recommended cooking directions. Take it out of the oven. Add 1 tsp of sugar and mix it into the sauce. Add a few drops of lemon juice to make the sauce tart and acidic. Let sit for 20 minutes. Serve.

You've now had Dominos Pizza.

You could also just gnaw on your countertop. Fewer calories.

I had some Dominos a couple of weeks ago, normally I get Pizza Hut, and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. It sure did seem like a different recipe to me.

Yeah, that's true.

Domino's pizza is actually my favorite...I will have to investigate this change in the next couple of days and report back.

You are a bad person and you are going straight to hell. :p

The stuff I can get in New York City is, though.

And how! There's a lot of good non-chain stuff scattered around NJ too.

The farther I go from NYC, the more likely it is that I'll get a confused look if I ask for a plain cheese pizza. It's telling.

Yeah, I've had some pretty damn good pizza here in NJ. It's definitely better than what you can get in the midwest, except for Pizza King. That's just a whole different animal and I am reluctant to compare it to anything.
