I predict: she gets on to Dexter, but doesn't turn him in, but rather drags it along to get info and stuff for a future news story outing him. He secretly knows, strings her along in some kind of kinky deadly relationship, makes Debra suspect he is ceahting, and ultimately he'll have to kill the reporter.
