CSI: Who is Dr. Jekyll?

Mr. Sin

Commander
CSI, in it's tenth season, has introduced a new recurring killer whose identity is yet unrevealed-"Dr.Jekyll". Jekyll performs weird surgeries on his victims, killing them....and all signs so far have pointed to Laurence Fishburne's character, Dr.Raymond Langston, who was a surgeon before he jointed the CSI team. I remember back when Laurence was first cast, there was rumors that he would be a "Dexteresque" character-basically, a lab guy with a killer streak. However, I'm hoping there's more of a twist than that. Fishburne after all is the lead actor (Although not the lead CSI-that's Marg Helgenberger's Catherine Willows). It has been hinted that perhaps it's his father, whose fate is unknown (And would certainly fit the whole "he shares serial killer DNA" rumor).

It's also worth noting that Dr. Jekyll was the "Sane" side of the Dr.Jekyll/Mr Hyde multiple personality.....

It's improved a bit since Lauren Lee Smith left and Sara Sidle returned. However, I thought that Sara was sick of the whole CSI thing, hence why she retired....however, I think they might deal with that later. (Apparentally the crazy teen who caused her to quit in the first place might make a return appearence).

Yeah stopped watching then too.

I use to be hooked to these CSI shows, but can't bother no more, sorry.

I am curious to know who the killer will be, please keep us posted lol.

There's a huge thread on the CSI forum. You have to register to post, but not to simply read.

I kinda gave up on CSI, but I might try it again for this. I thought the coolest thing they did in a long time was that Miniature Killer storyline.

^sigh, I miss the days when music videos told stories.

Me too. But there are still music videos that do tell stories, and there are still channels that show them: The Wedge on Much Music and this channel that just started in Canada: Aux TV

You can watch the former on a web stream at its website, but as for the other, you have to be in Canada to get it.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forget, there's this as well: Vevo

(Be warned, Vevo's full of young pop tarts [Miley & Emily] as well a other adult singers-you might want to stick with The Wedge's video web stream.)

Sorry to ressurect another old thread :) but last week's episode forwarded the story-we 'saw' Dr. Jekyll but he was wearing a mask, and he fought Langstrom so Langstrom probably isn't Jekkyl.

Also:
The Dick and Jane killer will return and apparentally has a vital clue

The characters on CSI tend to be like the people you work with. Over a period of time you find out a certain amount about them, but they just don't emote too much at work. Discussion of feelings is mostly reserved for private life. They have boundaries along with the job.

CSI is doing pretty good. Laurence Fishburne is quite successful in portraying Ray Langston, a man who is generally reserved, instead of laid back. His character is different from Grissom.

It may be hard to believe but I'm sure CBS execs were nervous about having an African-American play the lead on a mainstream show. They've pushed Marg Helgenberger's character forward as insurance but the Catherine Willows character isn't working as the lead. Not for me anyhow. Fortunately, as I said, we get FIshburne.
