... OK, those of us who have watched the show from the beginning know the show hasn't been about cougars since about episode 1x04... but there are still a lot of people who can't get past the title. The show now focuses on the people in the life of Jules Cobb (Courtney Cox): co-workers, kids, exes, and neighbors, and how they all interplay with and against each other. If you at all liked the writing and ensemble in "Scrubs", you owe it to yourself to be watching "Cougar Town"
I won't make bold proclamations about this being the funniest half hour on Television (for my money, that's easily FX's "Archer", but it's definitely in my top 5. The show has a great ensemble cast, with damn good writing, and I for one am very excited it's back tonight.
The show returns tonight at 9:30 EST (After "Dancing with the Stars") after a three month hiatus. Tonight's episode was supposed to be the finale before the hiatus, but was pre-empted for a presidential address. After tonight, the show returns to it's normal timeslot on Wednesday night.
OK, enough evangelizing. Anyone else excited? If you're not watching, how come?
