For all true movie geeks.:D

Twins: When Arnold and Danny Devito enter the bathroom at the bar, Arnold sets his beer down on top of the dispenser. As they both make a hook shot into the wastebasket, the beer is still there. After we see the paper balls hit the basket we cut back to the two of them and the beer bottle is no longer there.

Bram Stoker's Dracula: When Seward sits down after tripping over the rug, Quincy is holding his hat. When seward get up he grabs Quincy's hat from underneath and apologizes for sitting on it.

Now yours....

In BTTF2, when Marty's jacket auto-dries it musses his hair quite a bit. Two seconds later his hair is perfectly combed again.

in robocop: the guy who played red foreman(forgot the charater AND actors name)'s Desert Eagle changes periodcally from one with a threaded barrel to one without

Disorganized Crime: they get their "cars" crossed. The one dude stole Lou diamond Phillips white car and gets arrested. and then the gang find s the white car that belongs to the cops andthey dont know whose it is.. eventually they confuse the two..its more of a script error because LDP would know which car was his and which one wasn't

Wjhat about Hunt for Red October: Ryan knew the Dallas had found the sub in the begiining of the film but when he 'leanrs" this alter he's like: "Wow they might have found it"

For me, the most glaring continuity error in Robocop occurred at the end of the battle in the drug factory.

When Boddicker is at Robocop's mercy, he says: "I work for Dick Jones! DICK JONES! He's the number-two guy at OCP! OCP runs the cops!"

(Emphasis added)

Robocop records this confession, and goes to arrest Dick Jones. As he plays it back, we see Boddicker from Robocop's POV. But this time, Boddicker says: "He runs OCP! OCP runs the cops!"

These aren't true continuity errors in terms of filmmaking, but if you know the locations they're filming, it's funny to see characters take 30 seconds to travel across town, or head 30 miles in the opposite direction of where they said they're going, or say the name of a place that it's clearly not.

Terminator 2 -- when the T-1000 is driving the semi to chase after John -- when he jumps down the ravine, the windshield get smashed into pieces on the impact, but then it's magically there again.

Man, I don't remember the movie, but there's a girl who gets her leg blown off by a bomb or something. We see her later in the movie, at a distance, walking across a dusty road on crutches and you can see dirt moving/being kicked by the actress' CGI'd-out leg.

The MST3K movie Space Mutiny has a scene in which the villain kills a member of the crew. Death, however, fails to keep her from manning her position on the bridge in the very next scene.

The Two Towers: As the King and his companions ride out of the Hornburg at the end of the movie, Legolas is clearly visible riding down the ramp. Why is this a problem? Because he's immediately followed by a second Legolas.

The Return of the King: Denethor lights himself on fire, runs out of the tombs and jumps from the stone "prow" of the city. This is a wee bit of problem, seeing as the distance appears to be at least 2 or 3 miles judging from earlier scenes.

Have you ever checked out moviemistakes.com? Very cool site with info like this. I have wasted many work hours scanning there...

Well, there's the classic, 'edit the same action together from multiple angles to lengthen it' thing as seen in a lot of the firefights in Star Wars (ANH) (most notably on the Tantive IV and inside the Detention Block) or in Ghostbusters when they're pulling the roast dog shell off of Dana Barrett.

"Look alive, everyone! Oh, sorry Suzzie."

"Girl in Gold Boots."

Also a MST3K movie, in the cut of the movie they used, one of the male leads and the female lead are talking in a diner. Then there's an abrupt jump/edit (as if someone turned the camera off and then back on) and afterwards the second male-lead is suddenly sitting at the table with the other characters and the first two continue their conversation as if nothing odd has happened.

"Does anyone notice I'm here now?"
"Comeon! I just teleported! It's impressive!"

Here's a bit more obscure one:

In the movie My Cousin Vinny, Joe Pesci's character orders breakfast at a diner in Alabama. The breakfast includes grits. He doesn't recognize the grits and asks the waiter what they are. However, Vinny and his fiance both being of obvious Italian descent should have recognized grits as polenta.

Sorta. But grits are made from hominy and polenta from corn(meal). It's possible the different apperance of it threw them for a loop.

It may also be possible, though unlikely, though they were from Italian ancestry they'd never encountered polenta.

Also, keep in mind, it serves as a plot point for latter when questioning Mr. Tiptin about how long it was between seeing the defendants enter the store, cooking his breakfast, and him sitting down to eat and seeing the "defendants" leave the store post-robbery/murder.

How in the heck did I forget that!? That's one of my all-time favorite MST3K moments.

There was a Youtube video featuring MST3K's top WTF moments, and that was one of them. I assume it's still there, but I'm too lazy check.

This happens in a lot of movies, but I easily noticed it in Cliffhanger, when Stallone is soaking wet and then all-of-a-sudden he's completely dry in the same scene.

Regarding the Red 6 thing, it's techically an error but it's held over from an earlier version of the Star Wars script. In that version, Porkins was Red 4, with Red 6 being some other pilot who later dies. The pilot who actually responds to the question in the finished film is Red 10.

In Neverending Story, after Atreyu has fallen off of Falkor and is walking in the ruined valley, there is a wall to his right that is made of stones. It's part of the matte painting, and the wall is only about waist height. But when it cuts to the close shots of him for the earthquake, the wall is much taller and the stones get knocked around Atreyu's feet. Then it cuts back to the matte painting, and the wall looks the same as it did before.
