At this point I'd be willing to believe there were bribes. That article is pretty damning. You know that if the US were suspected of fielding underage athletes, the IOC would be all over us like flies on spoiled food.

And every other nation's team would probably be cheering them on. Seems none of them are willing to tarnish the games to indite the Chinese team though. Interesting. I wonder whether it's merely because people are a bit surprised a games in China managed to pass without notable controversy regarding the host nation, and they're loath to start some after the fact.
