As we all know, one of the greatest boosts to modern music of the late 20th century was the music sung by the Brady kids.

What do you consider the all time greatest Brady song ever sung?

I'm torn.
It's either "Sunshine Day" or "Keep on Movin"

Maybe "Keep on Movin". Maybe. Hmmm.

^^Yeah, well, they never had to re-cast Bobby like they did with the youngest Partridge boy.

I thought this was going to be about Frank De Vol.

The only one I can remember is "Time To Change" because of Peter's vocal. And one Greg sang as Johnny Bravo, something like "You've got to be in love to love a love song."

But speaking of, does anybody remember the truly bizarre sounding "bwuh-huh-huh-huh" "laugh" on the laugh track of the "Brady Bunch"? It was probably on other shows, too, but that is the one I always remember because it really stood out to me.

The Partridge Family would have whipped the Brady Bunch’s collective ass.

No question, the Bradys were like a whole band of Tracys. And Laurie Partridge, I have to admit, I thought she was about the cutest thing on TV for a few years.

No, but they brought in cousin Oliver!

Can’t say I remember it. Was it the Wilhelm Scream of canned laughter?

^^^^I don't remember that ever being sung on the show. I also didn't include music that originated on the Brady Kids drug trip cartoon from the 70s.

Worse than The Partridge's Family's cover of "We Gotta Get Out of This Place"?

I've never heard that. But given that Shirley Jones and David Cassidy were at least actual musicians I'd guess yes.

Ah. Okay. I found it on YouTube.

Yeah, while the Partridge Family version of "We gotta" isn't very good, Cassidy can actually sing and, in an event, it's still way, way, better than the Brady version of "American Pie" which didn't even feature the first half of the song's lyrics (starting with, of all things, "Helter Skelter in the summer swelter [you know, the lyric about the Manson family murders]).

Hey, everyone can't belt out those classics like Shatner's "Lucy in the Sky," and "Rocket Man."

I can just see a record label exec going "None of their fans is going to want to hear a song longer than two and a half minutes! Cut all that stuff at the beginning out!"
