2 and 6. The Languid Goat is Always Thin: The World's Strangest Proverbs. The book is about 10cm square.
3. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, by CS Lewis
5. Misery by Stephen King. Though set entirely in a farmhouse in Boulder, CO, this is the first book I think of when Africa is mentioned.
7. The Fire Cat, don't remember who wrote it.
8. Sharpe's Trafalgar, part of the Sharpe series by Cornwell. I was tempted to double up Dawn Treader here.
9. Insomnia by Stephen King. It was in front of me.
10. The Tale of Peter Rabbit, by Beatrix Potter

My own answers

1) A book with a colour in its title

A Red Herring Without Mustard by Alan Bradley (a Flavia de Luce mystery)

2) A book with a long title

Doctor Wooreddy’s Prescription for Enduring the Ending of the World by Mudrooroo (Colin Johnson) (historical fiction about Tasmanian Aboriginals)

3) A book with a dragon in it

The Part About the Dragon was [Mostly] True by Sean Gibson

4) A book with a day of the week, or a month in its title

5) A book set entirely or partially in Africa

6) The smallest book you own

I have this tiny book of quotes from The Little Prince. If that is not acceptable than full book of The Little Prince in the photo is about 6 inches tall

I tend to purchase my ebooks when they go on sale for a dollar or two (or three), and then never seem to have time to read them all! So I can't claim to have actually read everything on this list. :alienblush:

1) A book with a colour in its title

I guess I'll start off with a Star Trek book: The Red King by Andy Mangels & Michael A. Martin

2) A book with a long title

Just sticking with fiction: Active Reader and Other Cautionary Tales from the Book World by Mark Leslie. I don't know if it's the absolute longest I have, but it's the longest I can find quickly. :)

3) A book with a dragon in it

Highfire by Eoin Colfer

4) A book with a day of the week, or a month in its title

The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow. (Maybe a bit of a cheat, as January in the title refers to the main character's name, not the month.)

5) A book set entirely or partially in Africa

Queen of Egypt by Kylie Quillinian

6) The smallest book you own

???

7) A book you loved as a child (whether you own it now or not)

Don't remember

8) A book that features an ocean or a sea

Ship of Magic by Robin Hobb

9) a book with a single word title

Lots to choose from, but let's go with Vox by Christina Dalcher (which I imagine is also probably one of the shortest titles I have)

10) A book by an author with an X in their name.

My answer for #4 would qualify here, but just for variety, let's go with Salvaged by Madeleine Roux. This wasn't as difficult as I originally expected, as I seem to have a fair number where the author's name is a variation of "Alex*", either as a first name or last name. Plus there are all those Star Trek books by Greg Cox... :)

1. The Blue Book
2.The Very Best Book of Baby Names
3. The Hobbit
4. The March Birthday Book
5.The Complete Idiot's Guide to Lost Civilizations or The Mysterious Caravan (Hardy Boys)
6. A book of Baby Names
7. Cinderella and also Snow White (I have them both)
8. Noah's Ark (several books on that)
9.Cats
10. Alexandra Ripley
I did it! I had to keep going into my bedroom and climbing on my bed to reach the book shelf above my bed, but I did it!! Yeah, ME! That was fun...
