Bloopers????

Does anyone know if there is a link here or a website where they have bloopers of the TOS for us to see????

OMG....loved them...are there anymore??? I don't know how to find that stuff on youtube...do you such search it or what? HELP...I would love to buy a DVD with the bloopers on there.

I just searched 'star trek bloopers' in the search box at the top of the page, you get the old TNG/DS9/VOY reel that everyone's seen with John de Lancie fluffing his line 5 times, scroll down and you get a few other options including the ones I posted above. There aren't a great many bloopers for Star Trek compared to some shows, I think the producers, especially of the later incarnations, were of the 'bloopers spoil the shows suspension of disbelief' school of thought (As is Joss Whedon, entirely by the way, which is why Buffy/Angel bloopers are also very hard to come by)

oh lord, the one from ST IV...kirk has his hand on spocks leg (out of the camera shot) and Nimoy finally says for him to quit touching his leg....I almost lost it...the people at work are on to me...LOLOLOL will continue to watch them, thanks for helping me out CC.

Wow, I'd never seen the Trek 4 stuff before. Is there any place where they can be downloaded? Those would be fun to have.

I had the opportunity to first see the TOS outtakes in their traditional format, as a 16 mm reel shown at a convention, back in '89 (rather late in the game I'll admit).

My favorite is still probably the "coal shoveling" sequence.

Sincerely,

Bill

I really got a kick out of the "voyage home outtakes" for me, it's sooo funny to see "SPOCK" cracking up...I don't know why!!!

Anybody notice Nimoy's grin makes him look a little like Tom Baker? Give him a Harpo wig, a fedora and a 20 foot long scarf and he could be Tom's stand-in!

Okay, so he doesn't have the "boggle" eyes.

Sincerely,

Bill

He's one of these Doctors.

Well, I did say Nimoy lacks the hyperthyroid "boggle" eyes, but their "mule eating green briers" grins are similar.

And I'm not going to the corner, so there! Nyah! :p :p :p

Sincerely,

Bill

if you can live with yourself after making that analogy.......

Spock is way sexier than that man....even now.

Hey, look, I'm sorry. :( I didn't realize I struck a raw nerve. It was honestly just in good clean fun.

I'm just someone who enjoys both concepts depending upon my mood.

I guess I'd better not link my "Dalek/Spock staring contest" render, huh?

Sincerely,

Bill

I know! I am joking too...I"m not being serious...I mean, I"m serious that Spock is way sexy but I"m not offended...I was just jacking with you....

Dalek????

I'd rather err on the side of caution. Glad I didn't hurt your feelings.

As for "Dalek", that is the most remembered enemy of the Doctor. They are the mutated descendents of a race nearly wiped out in a global war upon an alien planet, Skaro. They have degenerated into shapeless tentacled nightmares who must use "travel machines" to locomote. Driven by xenophobic hatred, they believe all other life is a threat, beneath them and must be exterminated. They are icons in British pop culture, almost rivaling that of the Doctor himself.

EDIT: Actually, Garibaldi O'brien's present avatar (see above) is a radio control toy version of the cybernetic menace. Don't let the "plunger" make you laugh. The present series has demonstrated it can crush a human skull.

Sincerely,

Bill
