Being tall-dominant or recessive gene?

I was looking at a profile of a chick and she was 6 foot tall. If she got with a guy that was 5ft tall, would the kids be more likely to be tall or short?

It also has a lot to do with the nutrition of the person as they're growing up. Someone malnourished during childhood is not going to achieve their full height potential.

Yeah, was hoping for 6'4'' myself when I was growing up. I towered above almost everyone. However I settled at just barely under 6'3''. I'm taller than most, but not as tall as I'd like.

As for genetics... both my grandfathers were about my height or taller, my dad is 6' or 6'1'', and my mom is about 5'5''. Draw your own conclusions.

My great grandfather was 5'9", my grandfather is 6', My father is 6'3" and so am I, I think we maxed out.

Yup, it is. I've had people call me a liar, though. "No, 6'1" has gotta be average!"

I think a lot of guys just lie about how tall they are so women think 5'10" is actually 6'.

LOL ain't that the truth! I can't tell you how many men lie about their height. I mean I can understand why because women are very shallow and judgmental in this regard..but if I say I don't care I don't expect to be lied to about it.

I'm 5' 5" and not happy about it. Shortest in the family...but please note in person I look 6ft tall.

Average for women is 5'4", like my wife. She's tall for her family!

I seem to attract short girls, though. I dated a girl in high school that was 4'10". Yes, kissing while standing up was a bit of an issue.

I'm 6'0". Brother is 6'1" or so. Our ancestry is all shorter than that.
