Bad Starship Names

So we all know a lot of ships in Trek are named after historic figures both in real life and in universe, but what sort of prominent figures would you think wouldn't get that honour (of course it goes without saying that the likes of Hitler and other Nazis would never be considered), or what sort of tragic figures, ships, or events might get a starship named after them despite the history associated with the name.

The question popped into my head after watching a couple of YouTube vids on the Donner Party and I got to wondering if Starfleet would ever commission the likes of a California-Class ship called the Donner Lake.

Don’t give up the ship.

It would be named after a place not the tragedy, so why not? I live in the Sierras. You can't spit with out hitting something call "Donner" here.

Imagine being Richard Donner and scoping out filming spots up there for Superman's fortress of solitude ice palace.
