Baby Spock Face Cannibal

Malformed

Lieutenant
Red Shirt
Okay, there have been much interesting art created to celebrate Star Trek;s 50th Anniversary, and while I get what this is supposed represent, this poster by Johnson Tsang just strikes me as wrong on so many levels. But it is fascinating in its overall weirdness.

Could you please explain it, then? I think it looks like Mr. Spock eating a baby.

More like someone threw the baby into Spock face. I think, in such occasion it would be pretty appropriate for Vulcan to became really angered...

It reminds me of how Starro the Conqueror would control the Justice League by attaching starfish to their faces....

You pointy-eared, green-blooded, baby-eating eating Vulcan!
And what about his nose? Where is it? WTF?

I think it's supposed to be Baby Spock looking up at the stars and being cradled by the adult he will grow into. But its just so bad its good. It's in the top 10 most ridiculous Star Trek merch ever. And is that even a logical diaper in the 24th century?

I won't lie...as a Trek fan and Artist, I have been underwhelmed by most of this stuff lately. This one however is winning the imaginary award for cap contemporary art with a Trek thing slapped on it to get exhibited.
I remember thinking the JJ prise which Jim Lee drew batman on was a new kind of rubbish, but I guess things could go downhill.

I don't know what world the baby eating Spock thing wins anything, except maybe in the carnival of the absurd.

It's ridiculous. And it's pure trash.
