1) Are you ticklish?
More so than I thought, actually. I noticed I was a bit ticklish this morning when I was having a medical procedure done and the nurse needed to shave a bit of my nether regions.

2) On a scale from 1 to 10 how well can you sing?
Well, I can carry a tune and people tell me I have a pleasant singing voice, so maybe a 7. I probably sing about as well as most people think they sing in the shower.

3) What is your favourite board game?
I don't do board games.

4) Are you a morning or night person?
I used to be a night owl, but at my age I just can't keep Frank Sinatra hours anymore. Still, I'm definitely not a morning person. My brain runs on autopilot until about 10:00 A.M.

5) What sound drives you crazy?
Number one would be a baby crying, followed by a dog barking incessantly.

6) When is the last time you read a physical newspaper?
God, I can't even remember. Probably more than thirty years ago. The other day I noticed that the Los Angeles Times still publishes a print edition, but it's shrunk to tabloid-extra size.

7) Do you ever go to thrift shops/charity shops/op-shops (or whatever they are called in your country)?
To buy stuff, no. Although I occasionally donate items.

8) Growing up what was your favourite fairy tale/children’s story?
Winnie-the-Pooh, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and an obscure little book called Bernie the Baby Bear, about the adventures of a bear cub in London. Basically anything that was British.

9) if you could only speak to one person for the rest of your life who would you choose?
My neighbor, dear friend and fellow cat-lover Crystal.

10) If you could go back in time what year would you visit?
That's a tough one. Let me think about that one a bit.

1. Yes. My uncle used to torture me.
2. Probably about a 6 or 7. I've been told I have a nice voice. I wanted to be a singer when I was younger, but didn't have the confidence.
3. My friends and I play a racing board game called Formula De that I enjoy.
4. I used to be a night person, but I seem to be turning into a not-too-early morning person.

Backgammon, or Upwords - and I detest Monopoly

Definitely a morning person

The dog next door’s barking

6) When is the last time you read a physical newspaper?

I think in 2013 when I bought a newspaper to look at my mother’s death notices. My local paper is a Murdoch paper so I don’t like to buy it.

Yes, I just got back from visiting a couple of op-shops. I bought 3 jigsaw puzzles and a sun hat.

8) Growing up what was your favourite fairy tale/children’s story?

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Also loved the Wizard of Oz

9) if you could only speak to one person for the rest of your life who would you choose?

My youngest son. He and I have similar interests.

10) If you could go back in time what year would you visit?

1821, but only if I could choose London. I want to see my great-great grandfather taking part in the riot during Queen Caroline’s funeral. She was loved by the masses and her husband, George IV was hated. My GGGF was arrested during the riot and ended up being transported to Van Dieman’s Land.
