Scruffy-looking untitled Han Solo film thread

Saw this pointed out over on theforce.net forums

There is what looks like a Star Destroyer under construction on the surface of a planet (probably Corellia). It's the scene with Solo drifting.

This is the point where people would normally be saying "That thing's not to scale and since when are they built on the surface? They're supposed to be built in SPACE!"

dammit JJ

In all honesty, I don't see how it's practical to build massive starships on a planetary surface as opposed to in space where there is no gravity to get in the way.

We saw parts of a Galaxy class being built on the surface of Mars in TNG. Though that doesn't mean the entire ship is assembled there. They could be tractored up to orbit for assembly.

In Star Wars they seem to be able to manipulate gravity via repulsorlifts, so maybe it isn't that big a deal for them.

Repulsorlift technology seems to be fairly cheap to produce, and seems to be virtually everywhere in the SW galaxy, fitted on starships of various sizes, fitted on droids, landspeeders etc.

LIES.

The Star Wars Holiday Special was the most fun Star Wars movie. EVER.
It has BEA ARTHUR in it, how could it NOT be the most fun!?

That, and Hamill with mascara, Ford acting confused half of the time, and Fisher...well, you figure it out, considering the year. What's not to love about it?

At least they didn’t throw it out completely. life day is still canon, and they used a couple of the character names
