What are your five favorite TV theme songs??? Here is my list...

#1. Hawaii Five-0. Not only my favorite theme song, but by far, the best title sequence

#2. How The West Was Won/The MaCahans. A short lived western from the late 70s, with a great theme.

#3. Star Trek TOS

#4. the original Battlestar Galactica..love that theme song!! Kicks ass over the sleep inducing nuBSG new age dribble...

#5. Three's Company...come and Knock on my door!!!

Not nessesarily in best to worst order:

1. MASH - great song, even better with lyrics!

2. Cheers - You really want to go to Cheers after hearing the theme..

3. old BSG - not a fan of the orginial, but that piece of music is epic as hell

4. Knight Rider - Don't know what it is, but the theme just sounds 'cool' and 'futuristic'.

5. Gilligan's Island - Not many tv themes are more singalong friendly then this.

honorable mentions - I Dream of Jeanie, Dallas, TOS, TNG, B5, A-Team, Green Acres, Seinfeld
 
1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Just kicks ass.

2. Battlestar Galactica (both old and new)

3. The Sopranos - Love that song

4. Carnivale - Weird theme

5. The Office

I didn't mention either GILLIGAN or BRADY BUNCH because I didn't want to get those songs stuck in my head for the next five hours..THANKS ALOT!!!

"The Avengers" (the original theme music by Laurie Johnson)

"Xena: Warrior Princess."

"Dark Shadows" (the original)

THE 4400 (a really haunting credits sequence which I almost never fast-forward through)

And am I the only person on Earth who thought that the theme music to "Cleopatra 2525" was hilarious? It was always good for a giggle.
