Good morning,

After discussion with the Boss, all new threads about the new series should go into the Future of Trek Forum (until a specific show forum is created). The General Trek Discussion forum is specifically meant for general discussion "not related to any specific series or movie".

The ones that are here now can stay, but starting today (11/11/15) please go to the Future of Trek forum. Any new threads posted here after this post will be moved.

Something to add to this: Now that we're getting tangible news about the new show, please err on the side of using spoiler code when bringing it up in threads here. There may be people in this forum who are deliberately avoiding news of upcoming productions.

And related to my previous post (but not the new show)--Spoiler protocol should be observed for Star Trek Beyond until the movie's been out on home video for a bit. Please assume that there are people in this forum who aren't seeing it until then and don't want to know anything, and code discussion of Beyond details accordingly. Thank you.
