Was Admiral Jellico intended to have been a fleet admiral as C-in-C?

The question has come up at Memory Beta, with his apparent one-pip admiral's rank in the recent New Frontier comic throwing a wrench into what would otherwise be a relatively easy question (given that previously seen C-in-Cs have all been fleet admirals).

Peter's comics and the Destiny trilogy are not compatible, continuity-wise.

    Thanks. :)

I'm sorry the question was such a minutia.

Besides Jellico's rank pip...what is not compatible?

Note - I have not read Destiny #3 yet (#1 & #2 were INCREDIBLE imo)

Given that it's not the real Jellico in the New Frontier comic but, rather, an alt-universe Jellico impersonating our Jellico, and he gets a number of things wrong, I don't see a discontinuity between the two.

I figured the comic was right around the time of Nemesis[/i], following on After the Fall/Missing in Action (which were both right before the film), and even then Jellico hadn't been promoted.

In short, not to disagree with you, Dave, but I think they can and do fit. :)

Actually After the Fall is before Nemesis

Missing in Action is after Nemesis.
