Star Trek (2009) Line-by-Line Version 2.0

Greetings, folks!

By popular demand, I've been asked to start a new line-by-line thread to go through the movie once again, in the hopes of allowing even more people to participate!

Once we've gone through the movie once more, perhaps we'll be ready to start the fake line-by-line thread on Star Trek XII!

For any unfamiliar with our "game," you are asked to post only a single line (defined as one character speaking without interruption by another character) per message. You can post as often as you like, but someone else must post a line in between your posts. We don't include alot of "stage directions" and so forth, but do generally try to note when a scene changes from one location to another.

COM VOICE: U.S.S. Kelvin, go for Starfleet base.

 

Com Voice 2: Starfleet base, we've sent you a transmission, did you receive?

 

COM VOICE 3: Kelvin, have you double checked those readings?

 

COM VOICE 2: Our gravitational sensors are going crazy here. You should see this, it looks like a lightning storm.

 

Com Voice: What you've sent us doesn't seem possible.

 

COM VOICE 2: Yes ma'am, I understand that's why we sent it.

 

(Kelvin bridge)

Robau: Report.

 

Officer: Still out of visual range. Give me 20 seconds.

 

Robau: Polarize the viewscreen.

 

Officer: Captain, we have visual.

 

(background)

Officer: Repeat. Could this be Klingon?

 

Officer: Negative Lieutenant. You're 75,000 kilometers from the Klingon border.

 

Captain, are you seeing this?

 

^Skipped a few:

Com: Alert Captain Robau that Starfleet advises your ship to proceed with caution.

Etc. Picking up...

 

Robau: My God!

 

(The Narada completes its exit from the Black Hole)

Bridge officer: I have a reading. They've locked weapons on us!

 

Robau: Red Alert!

 

Kirk Sr: Torpedo locked on us at 320 degrees, mark 2

 

Robau: Arm weapons! Evasive pattern Delta 5!
