Well, since the TAR threads have really become more discussion threads than live commentary threads, I've changed the title. Feel free to keep live discussion going; I'll be here if anyone else is interested.
Well thanks to the Raiders/Jet game it looks like it will be about 45 minutes late on the east coast.
Tuned in late. So what was the difference between the Fast Forward and the Roadblock? Climbing that tower?
Terrence is and always will be an idiot. The Pinks...well, they are special. The Frat boys are not that far behind. I literally snorted coke laughing when he wouldn't do the traditional nose kiss. Phil's Dad!
Phil's dad? Awesome! The editors are trying so hard to make this look close, but it's pretty obvious Marisa & Brooke are DFL. ETA: I so would have done the blocarts.
Starr's cut looks bad, but she seems to be acting a bit. And Andrew and Dan are too stupid for words. ETA: There are a large number of teams I haven't liked this season. In fact, Ken & Tina and Toni & Dallas (and Mark & Bill) are the only ones I've really liked. Nick & Starr started out well, but Starr is become grating. Terence & Sarah and Kelly & Christie are annoying. Andrew & Dan, Aja & Ty, and Marisa & Brooke are just dumb.
Aja and Ty won't make it as a couple. Andrew and Dan are too stupid for words. That was a nasty cut on Starr's arm. Faking the severity or not, that sucker is going to hurt/hinder on the next leg.
So Dallas's hair looks like Michael J. Fox's from Teen Wolf? So? His hair is cute! (As is the rest of him.) Maybe the police will take Terence & Sarah out of contention for us. That would be nice.
I hear New Zealand police prefer the Dirty Harry approach to even the most minor of infractions. We could only hope. Fairly disappointed in the challenges and roadblocks this week. --Ted
The gnome challenge! Oh how I love the gnome challenge. I wish they'd shown more of it. Tina and what's his name got first again, how...irritating. I hope they go soon. I never really liked the South Carolina girls, but I kind of felt bad for them in this episode. They always tried their best and really were very positive about things. Aja and Ty won't be lasting long. Terence was a jackass as usual ("you can't open the envelopes, you tear them" and "can you give me some love right now, just rub my hair please" ). I'm rooting for Toni and Dallas at this point.
I don't think she was faking- her hand looked like it was starting to swell up. If there's a lot of physical activities on the next leg, the injury could come into play. Not sure why Nick didn't offer to drive right when they first left the blowcart task- they did finally switch places, but he should have offered right away. Oh well, I don't care for that team anyway. Kind of sorry to see the blonds lose- they weren't a very good team, but they always gave it their best.
I wa screaming at the TV at that point. She thinks she broke her arm and he lets her drive? The arm did look like it was swelling. It was cool seeing the Dad. Looking forward to the cop scenes next week.
I swooned when Dallas said the girls think they are God's gift. He is MY God's gift...........TO ME.............[Letterman]IN MY PANTS[/Letterman]!!!!!!!!
Well, then he's bi, because he was dating women when I directed him in a musical three years ago. I'm sure that decision was probably edited. After finding out she didn't break her arm, she might have insisted on driving. Some people, when they get hurt and/or pissed scream that they don't want help and can do it themselves. (e.g. "No, I can DRIVE, dammit!") And it looked like Nick really didn't want her to drive, so I'm sure it was an interesting discussion. In any case, I'm sure it'll be asked about somewhere down the line. --Ted
