Now, now, you know nobody likes to acknowledge that. Star Trek was perfectly consistent with a continuity and canon that lined up 150% before the Kurtzman era began and pissed all over canon for the thrill of it until Lord Terry arrived and tried to right the ship. But the Kurtzman Loyalists have infected the upper echelons of Paramount preventing the Legacy series the Fans deserve from every seeing the light of day.

Data was from the Starfleet Academy Class of '78 until he wasn't. And all that changed by the end of the first season. Gene couldn't even decide on his own internal continuity from year to year of the franchise.

    No, they did not.

Do you assume that WWI did not happen, just because you did not see any evidence of trench warfare going on in America at the time?

FC only said that the conflict had ended 10 years before first contact with Vulcans. It never contradicted the ‘90s Eugenics War as a world war at all. Meaning it could have continued long after Khan left Earth on the SS Botany Bay. Again, that wars are plural implies that there was more than one Eugenics War.

Its ENT that introduced the starting point of WWIII as 2026, and thus cause the whole mess in the first place. Before then, it was firmly suggested that it started in the '90s.

Maybe this is how the Star Trek Wars get started.

Spock says the 90s were the era of the last world War.

TNG gave us a 21st century conflict with a post atomic horror.

Voyager showed us a completely unaffected LA.

Just randomly found out that this is finally happening! Totally missed any report on this.

I love the faux vintage packaging and that they designed it as a classic black vinyl release. Can’t wait to give this a spin.

Was it? I thought the Eugenics Wars (aka the last World War) was the only thing date to the 90s?
Doesn't TOS, TNG and First Contact place WWIII in the 21st Cenury?

Riker said in First Contact that the Enterprise had arrived in the past, ten years after World War III.

TOS has them as the same event.

In Space Seed, but I thought later episodes placed WWIII in the 21st Century as separate event.
