Huh, I could have sworn Lando or Vader referred to him by name in either the original or special edition.

 

"This bounty hunter" I think was as close as they got.

 

Vader calls him "Bounty Hunter" after Han is frozen in carbonite.

 

Lando refers to him as "that bounty hunter" at the very end.

 

"Bounty hunter" gets a lot of play as a phrase in ESB.

 

Oh, that must have been what I was thinking of.
So anyone have any plans for the 4th?
I've been saving my R2-D2 shirt for it, and I'm probably going to watch at least some of Tales of the Empire and start reading the third volume of The High Republic Phase I comic.

 

I'll probably wear a lightsaber to work.

The wife and I went to see The Phantom Menace in the theater. It is also our anniversary so we went to our "first date" restaurant--but that's less Star Wars-y.

 

I shouted "WIZARD" a lot and ran around in a robe. So really, just another Saturday for me.

 

You could get in a fight there and slice a guy's hand off.

 

Have any stories ever covered how The Grand Inquisitor went from being a Jedi Temple guard to being such an important person in the Empire? I'm assuming he must have done something to really impress Vader and/or The Emperor.

 

According to a friend a comic or novel covers his conversion to an Imperial servant and agent of Vader but I don't know which story that would be.

 

I believe Charles Soule's first Darth Vader comic series from 2017 covered it.

He wanted to read the forbidden parts of the Jedi Archive, especially the stuff on the darkside, and was jealous of the Jedi librarian Jocasta Nu, whom he saw as beneath him. Wondering why someone so ‘weak’ could access knowledge he couldn’t.
