^ I was kind of assuming we'd see them again towards the end of the series. Maybe they're part of the footage shot after the cancellation? At any rate, I find that I just don't care enough about Owo and Detmer to really be bothered if they get a goodbye scene or not.

Since it's not over yet I'll hold my pissed off'ness until the end of the show.

People come and go. That is the nature of life and work and has been my experience the last 5 years at my job.

I too am holding out hope. But that line did feel like a kick in the nuts.

Someday I will understand the visceral reactions people have to these things that cause such pain, insult, disrespect, and a "kick in the nuts" feeling, which I have experienced and it sucks and would not recommend. And even when I sobbing buckets over a film (happened recently) it's an emotional connection that drives me through. It sounds like this emotional connection is kicking you back?

They're pretty one note, so I'm not sure what that says about the Disco crew.

    A concealed pod.

    Role D20 for detecting.

Can we not go there again...?

I hadn't seen Trek villains with relationship dynamics like Lak and Moll. I almost feel sympathetic toward both of them. They're not just a pair of two-dimensional riff raff. The episode showed how they met and eventually developed fondness for each other, reflecting Burnham and Booker's relationship.

The Breen culture was almost reminiscent of Star Wars' The Mandalorian. "This is the way."

No... But the ISS Enterprise needing power to get the clue, could have been the explanation for why Mol and Lok's ship wasn't immediately available for their escape after retrieving said clue.

I absolutely like the two of them, and I think it’s clear we’re supposed to. Hope things work out well for them.

So what the hell is a "High Chancellor" anyway? The next in line after the Emperor?

I mean, we know there IS an Emperor of the Terran Empire, we've seen her (Georgiou).

I thought it was cool finally seeing a Breen face but I thought they ruined the moment almost immediately. We know the Breen don't show their faces so it was a massive moment for L'ak to show his and a nice way to demonstrate just how close they'd come but then his uncle just casually showing his face as well ruined it for me. The showing of the face should, to me, be the main reason he now has this massive bounty on him and it felt like they immediately wasted the moment.

Their ship was in two pieces, and I am not referring to the detached nacelles.

Or Nimoy with a beard. We have already seen Burnham see that Spock will someday become Nimoy.

Their ship was in two pieces because the writers choose to write that their ship was in two pieces.

The writers could have just as easily chosen have their ship be locked down doing something required to get the clue, that would prevent it from just leaving the moment they found the clue.

I agree in that real life sense but looking at Discovery as a show it never seemed to find any confidence or courage in it's conviction when it came to the crew. It constantly fluctuated between giving them prominence and not which is understandably a let down for fans of those characters who are teased with giving them stronger roles.

What’s the in-universe reason for not sending Commander Rhys, the 23rd century Constitution-class subject matter expert, off with the Enterprise? Could be useful command experience, like when Ensign Kim was off with the Nightingale.

I hope we get a comic (or other short story format) where Owosekun and Delmer have an adventure aboard the ISS Enterprise.
