I could actually see this. Gary is definitely a talented actor with a wide variety of roles behind him.

Actors from then, I'd think Grace Jones would be a better Storm.

Margot Robbie as Emma Frost or Jean Grey/Madelyne Pryor

He was the lead in "I Am Number Four" and that awful "Beastly" movie.

    Eh....you're not missing much.

Really, one of the issues with Cyclops is that his eyepiece means that you can't see the actors eyes and it makes it hard for them to have serious facial expressions either. So their acting is usually conveyed through their jaw movements.

What they should do is either find a way for us to see Cyclops' full face in the film or hire an actor who has a very strong, expressive voice he can use to make up for the lack of facial acting.

Alex Pettyfer was also in "Magic Mike" and "Elvis & Nixon"; and he is currently in "The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare."

    Idris Elba as Bishop
    Morgan Freeman as Gateway

    Grandson and Grandfather.

I'm not certain if Bishop is Aboriginal or AfroAboriginal or Ozzy/African American.

Regardless, most people making comics and cartoons forget that Bishop is from Down Under.

Now just try to edit all your comic book memories, and the 90s cartoon to land "Lucas" with an accent identical to Crocodile Dundee.

    Polaris - Justine Lupe
    Havok - Ryan Hansen
    Madrox - Nate Corrdry
    Quickilver - Evan Peters
    Wolfsbane - Alona Tal.
    Stronguy - The Situation
    Layla Miller - Reagan Revord.

Bishop's history is... complicated. In part because every time we find out something new, it seems it at least partly conflict with the previously things that we were told.

Generally speaking Afro-Aboriginal is either redundant or inaccurate by definition.

    Gateway is definitely the former.

Possibly great-grandson and great-grandfather according to at least one source.

He was also initially implied to be Storm's grandson, but this has never been confirmed beyond Storm being one of the X-Men he's closest to and a few similar details.

    .

His parents were Australian, but he and his sister were born in an American concentration camp for mutants and would therefore be de facto Americans (though as mutants their legal rights and status would be initially limited).

Another potential source of confusion is that although he is multi-ligual, he has only been shown to speak English, French and Arabic as a North African might rather than any of the Aboriginal languages.

Australian Aborigines are indigenous to Australia, and have an oral tradition going back 12 thousand years. They are only from Africa in the same way that the French are from Africa.

Well, I'll take your word for it on the exact timeline, but I agree with the premise.

I'd say that's a slight exaggeration as the average Aboriginal has far more phenotypical markers in common with the average African than the majority (~95%) of French people.

12 thousand years of oral tradition means they have story tellers who can recite verbatim a song that goes on for 15 hours which retells sociological, geological and astrological changes to the Earth, but archaeological evidence places their presence in Australia at a minimum 65 thousand years.

Do you think Polynesians are Africans?
Do you think that Asian Indians are Africans?
Do you think Native Americans are Africans?
