Agreed. Loading times are awesomely short now. I finally upgraded Horizon Forbidden West to the PS5 version yesterday (I had the time and it's free, so there... and I wanted to try out the DLC, which is a PS5 exclusive) and I must say the loading times are super fast and it's great. Much better than they were in the PS4 version. The graphics tho? The difference is not THAT massive. But then maybe this is a bad example since the game was basically made for PlayStation and looks amazing on PS4 already.

I think one great way to test it is to test it out with games that have had long loading times compared to other games. For instance, and I haven't tried this personally, but on my PS4 I was playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and that has a super long loading time, which made it annoying to die and having to reload a save, and I would assume on the PS5 it would have a drastically shortened loading time.

I found the Series S to be one hell of a machine for this next gen, i mean over the last 2 years of insane energy bills here in the UK it allowed me to continue gaming without selling a kidney to pay the monthly lekky bill, and i recently bought a 1440p monitor, and even though most games on the Series S are 1080p, the improvement in image quality and sharpness was plain to see, and it plays all the new big games with no issues, and you get all those insane loading times velocity tech, and all this while only drawing a max of 72 watts........it is a amazing bit of kit to say the least, and i would say out of all the consoles its bang for buck is off the charts.

For the XBox S, all I really seen is that it has a Solid State hard drive, so the loading times are shorter. Other than that its basically the XB One.. Same home screen, same pretty much everthing to me.

If you think all the series s has to offer over the xbox one is some quicker loading times, then who am i to tell you otherwise. ;)

Yeah for me it works with Dying Light 2 - it runs much better than it did on my PS4, in all regards. And GTA V is another great example for much faster loading times with the PS5. :)

So I downloaded Baulders Gate 3 and it's freaking awesome, most of I've enjoyed a game in a long time. Funny I looked at it and didn't think it looked up to much and Dungeons & Dragons isn't really my thing.

I freaking love Sci-Fi and Starfield looked awesome and it turned out to be a steamy bag of shite.

Funny how things turn out sometimes.

I was the very same, saw all the bad pr SF was getting and thought should i even bother downloading it, i did , and i loved it to bits...........then i was over the moon to see Diablo 4 coming to GP, could not wait, made it to level 12 and deleted it due to how boring it was.

I sometimes think someone or something, somewhere, is playing us all for their own amusment. lol

^ I didn't even realize you could do that with the PS4. I know you could add secondary storage, or use external storage, but didn't think you could replace the main storage device. But they didn't advertise it all that much, and it's this generation they've really been pushing customization.

You could also replace the HDD of the PS3...
Microsoft forces you to use custom hardware for expansion...
