Pissing off Jerry Jones would be a nice silver lining...

Yeah, but we haven't found nearly all of Jerruh's horcruxes, we haven't discovered the way to destroy him yet. The moment the NFL even dropped hints about possibly moving a second team to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, he'd file litigation against everyone involved so aggressive that even Donald Trump would be like, "Holy shit, now that's a fucken lawsuit."

And if the Chiefs or another team ever did move to the Metroplex, Jerruh's ghost would haunt everyone involved, their children and their grandchildren for the rest of their natural lives.

Jets introduce new uniforms, which is just their early/mid-80's uniforms.

There’s a story going around saying Kraft told Blank not to trust Belichick and that was a big reason why the Falcons didn’t hire him.

If true, and provable, wouldn't that be some kind of tampering? Or do they only care about player tampering?

It's not tampering because Belichick wasn't under contract. Belichick, if he wanted to go scorched-earth on the Krafts, could maybe file a lawsuit for tortious interference, but it's far from the first time a boss--in any industry--talked shit about a former employee. (There's a reason pretty much every major corporation in the United States has policies that the HR department will only verify that a person worked for that company, verify the dates of employment, and maybe--depending on the state--say whether or not that employee is eligible to be re-hired.)

    My god, haha.

Maybe the Ealges could go with the crazy canary yellow/bright blue they wore a couple times years ago...? Came with Swedish helmets, too.

Looking at the Packers history there's some options of actual historic unis that didn't involve green. So if they went with say, the blue and tan and yellow of the mid-50s and the Eagles went with black and white (although not sure what you'd do about helmets?) there's at least an option?

But still, what a stupid mistake.

Jets are trading QB Zach Wilson and a seventh round pick to the Broncos for a sixth round pick. Jets are also paying some of Wilson's salary for next season. Even a lower return than Fields netted.

I'm surprised they got that much for him. Maybe Sean Payton can bring out what everyone saw in him that made him the #2 pick, or they can cut him with minimal cost.

So Denver dumped one washed-up Wilson and picked up another washed-up Wilson? At least they've got new uniforms to look forward to.

I think them spending their first round pick on Bo Nix (Brandon Weedon 2.0) would be a huge mistake. Though that is what I keep seeing on the various mock drafts.

If Penix is there at 12, Denver shouldn't even blink before sending their card to the podium.

Denver only got him to make him wear 3 so they can continue to sell Russell's jersey for full price.

Also, this trade means Trevor Lawrence is the only 2021 first round QB still on his original team.

The Texans will be sporting two new alternate helmets this season. And new uniforms.

Today is random sports stats and factoids, Rashod Bateman becomes the first Ravens first round WR to receive a second contract from the team. So either they're really bad at drafting WRs in the first round or the good ones bolt when they become free agents.

Here's the other shoe. The Bears want to spend $2B of their own money....for a $5B stadium project.
