I remember meeting Gigi at a convention here over a years. She does look amazing.

Ben and Claudia would be awesome in awesome in a future Star Trek series.

A friend of mine, the late Steve Palmer, was heavy into the Farscape fan push to bring back the show with fax campaigns and the like. I believe he went to a con in Australia at some point.

I finished up the first post PK- Wars miniseries, The Beginning of the End of the Beginning, and it was great. It was much fun to finally get to see Hyneria, which obviously was never possible on the show. And the story took some fun twists and turns, with a certain someone eventually showing up, and an interesting set up for what looks like a bigger arc involving John and Aeyrn's son.
I'm now a little over half way through the second one, Strange Detractors, and it's just as good so far.

It would have been nice if they had kept their characters as they entered the Stargate franchise.

Farscape, one of my favorite Sci Fi shows that I refuse to finish. I love the odd numbered seasons (1 and 3, never got to Peacekeeper wars if that counts as a "season) but hate the even numbered ones enough to never even finish Season 4. Still it has some great characters, memorable moments, and easily the best use of puppet characters in a Sci Fi show.

What did hate about Season 4? I thought it was great, especially the stuff with them on Earth, and the last four episodes.
I finished up the second comic miniseries, Strange Detractors last night, and I really enjoyed it. Where the first one felt like one of the big arc heavy episodes from the series, this one felt a bit smaller. I like the art on this one a bit better, it was a little more cartoony, but the first mini's art was a bit sketchier than I like.

I liked that one episode where Crichton hallucinates that he's back on Earth with the other characters as different people (Aeryn is a doctor, Zhaan a shrink, D'Argo a flashy astronaut, Crais a cop ("I can't arrest you!"), etc.

I think the title of that was Won't Get Fooled Again, and it's one of my favorites.

Regarding Farscape actors doing Trek, I think Ben Browder was up for the role of Major Hayes on ENT. But don't quote me on that.

This IMDB page mentions that. Ben was also considered for the role of John Shepperd.

Anyone seen that fan-made "live action Thundercats" trailer from awhile ago?

The guy somehow overlaid cat makeup on various actors from existing films. But he didn't do anything with Gigi Edgley (as Cheetara) because she's so catlike anyway.

I love every season. There were a few bad episodes in each. But overall still one of my favorite if not favorite sci-fi shows ever...

Once they get to Earth its over for me. I hate everything about it, they never should have gone back to Earth in the show. Of course I had other complaints about the show in general, even the seasons I really liked, but what made me drop the show in the middle of the fourth season was the Earth stuff. I had also hated the two previous fake out Earth episodes in the show, "A Human Reaction" and "Won't Get Fooled Again", and when it got to actual Earth I just couldn't stand it.

To this day I have literally no idea what happens to the characters after the Season 4 episode "Kansas", I don't know if anyone dies or if Scorpius ever gets defeated or what the "Peacekeeper Wars" actually are, I was just absolutely done with the show at that point.

The parts of the show I liked I still really like and am glad I watched, and I'll rewatch favorite episodes on occasion. I just treat the show like it got cancelled without an ending, its not like its the first Sci Fi show to have that happen.

Like I said it has a lot to love. It even has an episode that I consider one of the top 5 episodes of Sci Fi TV ever made, "The Way We Weren't". It also had some of the worst episodes of television that I've watched, and a couple of side characters that made me long for the days where I thought that Wesley Crusher was the most annoying TV character. So to me it was a mixed bag, the show has very high heights but also rock bottom lows.

Farscape was such a refreshing change of pace from Star Trek back in 99'. Today it still stands as one of the most unique and original shows of it's time.
